“Flippin’, friggin’ road closures,” my boyfriend grumbled when I asked him how his day was. “This damn Final Draw is turning into a slight pain in the behind. Oh, and that helicopter – well, all three of them? Get used to those. They will on the go every day, for the rest of the week.”

Final Draw Leads to Road Closures

Due to the Final Draw of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, various roads and streets in Cape Town’s city center will be closed for traffic. These Final Draw road closures are necessary to give event organisers and various City and Provincial services the opportunity to prepare and secure the various participating venues.
