With the third ticket sales phase for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa being concluded and the fourth phase  starting next week, tickets for the World Cup semi-finals and final have sold out. And there are no more tickets left for two of England’s first-round matches either, namely the game against the United States in Rustenburg on 12 June and  the match between England and Slovenia in Port Elizabeth on 23 June.

FIFA reported that the match between Italy and Paraguay, which takes place in Cape Town on 11 June and the showdown between Brazil and Portugal in Durban have also sold out as well.

Currently, there are over 400.000 tickets for the 2010 world cup still available. They will be sold during the final phase of World Cup ticket sales, which will open February 9 2010.  This will enable football fans until 7 April to apply for tickets for 53 of the 64 matches.

The fourth phase of sales is again to be conducted over the internet, and also for South African residents at bank branches, but this time will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
