All 2010 base camps announced!

It took a while, but it seems that all the 32 qualified countries that are to compete in the FIFA 2010 World Cup have chosen their base camps. Some of them are staying in one of the nine host cities, while other have chosen for a more rural setting. That is at least the conclusion of a document released by the South African  authorities. The last countries announcing their base camp are (for a complete list of world cup base camps, click here):

Ivory Coast – Ivory Coast will be based at Riverside Hotel and Conference Centre.

Korea Republic/ South Korea – The South Koreans will be staying at the Hunters Rest Hotel in the North West Province.

Korea DPR / North Korea: North Korea has chosen the Protea Hotel in Midrand as their 2010 world cup base camp.

Portugal: The Portuguese team will be setting up base camp at the Alley Hotel in Gauteng.

Slovenia: The Slovenian Football team will use the Hyde Park Southern Sun Hotel as their base camp for the 2010 world cup.

Argentina – The Argentinian football team has set sup their base camp in Pretoria / Tshwane, at the at the University of Pretoria.
