South Africans and World Cup visitors residing in one of the nine host cities will have to bear in mind that some roads will be closed off during the Football World Cup. Below you will find a list of road closures in Port Elisabeth. The road closures apply from midnight before each match to after the match. Bear in mind that I received this list from the authorities. If there are changes or road closures that are not mentioned: email the municipality to complain! And email me too, so that I can add them to the list and make amendments.

  • Kipling Road – Closed from Mary Avenue to Burns Avenue
  • Byron and Harrower Roads Intersection – Closed
  • De Villiers Street – Closed
  • Quick Street –  Closed
  • Shepherd Street –  Closed
  • Johcla Road – Closed
  • Konig Park Road – Closed
  • Powell Street – Closed
